This year's free/renegade burn unfolded itself most unexpectedly. 14 days before the burn, I received an invite from Amsterdam to support a friend's art project with my music. Everything which followed felt like a streak of kind gestures from the universe. This art project by Studio Drift brought two hundred drones to the playa to fly a series of magical art pieces in the black rock city sky. A tribute for all hearts who have burned in this place. ⁣⁣⁣A gift for the burning man culture and an homage to previous artists who united this beautiful community. ⁣ To everyone who made this trip and experience possible, thank you. I have no words. The same goes for all those who came to listen. All the beautiful burners who showered me with love, support, food, and gifts all week, realize you are part of this recording. I am sending my endless love to the Studio Drift & Robot Heart families for this opportunity to co-create. Without words of how you gift in such a selfless manner. ⁣⁣ This was me in flow on Saturday morning before the sun came out and Diplo took over. I loved this moment in time. And now we dance to the wind as a manifesto of redemption As we navigate the trails, of this human inception We are wanderers of freedom with nothing to hide, tracing our own roads with the sun as our guide. We are dream alchemists. we are seekers of the light Trusting our footsteps while our souls are in flight. In a quest of self-reliance finding trails back to source, Elevating each other, as our eye gaze joins in force. Unveiling the illusion to raise our voices higher as we witness eternity spiral into the fire. Let us choose surrender and keep walking in trust To remember that, in essence, all we are is dust.
