Quantify @ Bubbles & Bass | Burning Man 2023

When I got the email from Bubbles & Bass inviting me to perform this year I was so stunned and excited that teared up a little bit! Performing here was something I have thought about since I first came to Burning Man 5 years ago. I had the great honor and privilege of playing at Sunrise for the opening party! We showed up at about 5:45 for my 6am set and no one was there yet. But shortly thereafter, Russ, my "party manager" (love this) popped out and said he was there to make sure I had everything I needed and offered me coffee (great hospitality guys!). I was so excited that we fired up the system a bit early. I was planning to play uptempo, but the sun was just about to rise and I decided to open with a few emotionally soaring melodic tracks. As soon as the first track started, beautiful people started appearing out of the desert like a mirage. It was one of the most unique sets I played all week, journeying through melodic house, hip & afre. Thank you so much to the crew at Bubbles & Bass doing what you do and inviting me to be a part of it - it was truly one of the highlights of my burn!
