It was Friday of Burning Man 2023, and the rain was coming down strong during that whole afternoon. There was absolutely no chance that the artists I had planned to play that day could show up, so one by one, the Treble Makers took over the booth. Right before sunset, I got called up. I wasn't feeling my absolute best, and I rarely play DJ sets anymore, but I felt like a man on a mission. The moment I plugged in my USB, I could see a little crack in the sky, between the mountains and the clouds, and I knew that even if it's just for a moment, the sun was coming... The sun was followed by the most beautiful double rainbow I've ever seen, and one of the best parties Iv'e ever had the honor to curate music for.
