Description
Strength comes from learning to control your emotions, which is not the same as ignoring what you feel or pretending your feelings aren't real. If an emotion can’t change conditions or improve the situation, the emotion isn't useful. Your emotions in fact are often destructive, but you have the right to feel what you feel. No one said you can’t ever cry. It’s okay to be angry, upset or discouraged, but it's not okay to quit, because in life it doesn’t matter what happens to you, or who is to blame for all the problems, setbacks and mistakes. What matters is what you do with what happens, what matters is how you deal with what you've been dealt, what matters is not what you feel, but how you handle yourself.
