Lago, a native of New York City, emerged from the city's underground club scene, cultivating a love for organic, melodic, and deep sounds. Amidst the eclectic grooves of the city and her travels around the world, she found her love for blending diverse musical influences with the soulful resonance of melodic and deep house. Her sets aim to be transformative journeys that craft soundscapes rich with emotion and depth that transport the listener beyond the confines of the dancefloor. This sunset set at Burning Man 2025 was especially meaningful. It marked my return to the playa after taking the previous year off during my first pregnancy, and my first time playing publicly since my son was born in April. I envisioned the set with an expansive sound and powerful energy—a sonic expression of what it meant to return to the playa as a new mother.
