At Burning Man back in 2014, I was psyched to open Distrikt's Saturday playa lineup! That morning, I entered the DJ booth to find some rockstars already starting the day off right with some brunch-time bubbly, grooving to some disco tunes. Immediately joining the party, I sipped some bubbly and put in my music. Inspired by my bubbly friends and some precocious dancers embracing the pre-noon sun... Awww snap… let’s start the day with a touch of Nu Disco!! I pulled out a handful of go-to jams by some of my favorite groovemasters. Hearing them blast out of DISTRIKT’s incredible sound system with a growing number of gorgeously dusty dancers bouncing on the stage stands out as one of the most fun and memorable DJ experiences I've had, on and off playa!
