Wednesday Night Ali Bar-Bar Marathon Set

This year's burn was absolutely incredible, and Wednesday night was a crowning moment on the week! The awesome folks at the Santa Cruz-based Ali Bar-Bar invited me to play after local legend Dancing Mandy from Midnight to 2am, and my Sextant Camp family came en masse to support and dance their tails off! After a bit of a hectic start (I got there and realized I forgot my power cable for my controller on the Skylark art car and had to race across BRC to get it, come back, and be ready to start in 8 minutes), things started falling into place. Around 1:55am, their camp lead and the night's closing DJ, Horst, came up and told me to keep playing if I wanted to since the place was going off and we wanted to keep the energy flowing! It was an incredibly gracious gesture and I happily obliged. Not a perfect set by any means, but for operating on 2 hours of sleep and playing for 3 hours, I'll take it! Thank you so much to everyone at Ali Bar-Bar for having me out!!! It was one of the highlights of my burn! Most favorite parts of the set for me: - 54:00 to 1:15:00 (ish) - 1:43:00 to 2:00:00 (ish) - That last song! Oh the memories...
