"I was the first set of the day at one of my favorite places in the world, Pink Mammoth on a Saturday in Black Rock City. Throughout the week I had found myself searching for ways to top past years which left me chasing expectations and this set seemed to be another illustration of this idea. Previous years my friend Kenny and I had played Pink Mammoth to a packed dance floor as https://soundcloud.com/peaceinnoise, but this year he wasn't there, and neither was a big crowd. At first, I was disappointed, craving that energy, but as I closed my eyes and focused on the music, I felt a smile form on my face. It didn't matter how many people were with me on this morning, and even if there was one person in their tent grooving as they woke, that wasn't any less important. Thank you #burningman for not giving me what I asked for and instead what I needed.
