Baham at YOUniversal - Burning Man 2018 presented by Soulestial Carnival & Cirque Noir Soulestial Carnival is blessed to have a home at YOUniversal at Burning Man and in 2018 we brought our Soulestial soundsystem to bring the gift of music, accompanying our camp's Wednesday night open dinner. "YOUniversal offers a Persian Tea House designed by Gregg Fleishman, and for 6 hours each day we offer desert-friendly drinks along with exotic sweets and sour treats, some parlor games, and poetry & fortune telling - all based on Persian culture. Since our camp consists heavily of veteran Burners of Persian descent, YOUniversal is really good at two things that can be helpful on the playa: hospitality and fun desert-dwelling wisdom." Just days after playing the legendary Robot Heart bus, our campmate Baham delivered an expertly-crafted set, perfect for the intimate setting of the tea house. Baham is a multimedia project lead by the Montreal-based duo The Doctors, bringing together elements of folk music reinterpreted through electronica.
