It was a Wednesday afternoon, MW artcar’s engine starts and together with a wave of bikes we begin our ride through the dust. Slaloming through the art installation, encountering the most special and magical moment on the Playa with a beautiful shining sun, we are so impressed by the conviviality of the lifeless desert. Julien on the saxophone, Thomas on the piano, we begin our new live set, relaxed. Halfway through, the wind increases, we spot a cloud of dust approaching and in a few minutes, we became surrounded by a dust storm! Praying our gears won’t drop on us and aging by the minute with our white sandy airs and eyebrows, we eagerly continue, until the clouds and the storm starts clearing. The Shining in the Dark. This is the type of moment where you realize the magical events of life, the luck we are blessed to live, and how this experience will forever be engraved in our hearts.
